Lead status and labels

Last updated: May 4, 2026

Status and labels are the two ways to organize and track leads in Unibox. Status reflects where a lead is in your pipeline. Labels are freeform tags you create to add additional context.

AI-powered status detection

Stamina's AI reads each reply as it comes in and automatically updates the lead's status based on the intent of their response. You don't need to manually categorize every reply — the AI handles it in the background so your Unibox always reflects an accurate picture of your pipeline.

This means you can filter Unibox to show only Interested or Meeting Booked leads and immediately surface the conversations that represent real opportunities — without wading through opt-outs, out-of-office replies, or negative responses.

Lead status

Stamina's AI assigns one of the following statuses based on reply content. You can also update status manually at any time.

How to update status manually

  1. Open a conversation in Unibox.

  2. Click the status badge next to the lead's name at the top of the conversation.

  3. Select the new status from the dropdown.

Available statuses

  • Active — Receiving emails in the sequence, no reply yet

  • Interested — Replied positively, not yet booked

  • Meeting Booked — Agreed to or scheduled a meeting

  • Not Interested — Declined or opted out

  • Bounced — Email address was undeliverable

  • Unsubscribed — Clicked the unsubscribe link

  • Out of Office — Auto-detected OOO reply

Labels

Labels are custom tags you define to add context beyond pipeline stage — for example, industry vertical, persona type, or campaign source. Use them to slice your Unibox in ways that status alone can't cover.

How to add a label

  1. Open a conversation in Unibox.

  2. Click Add label.

  3. Type a new label name or select an existing one from the dropdown.

  4. Press Enter to apply it.

Filtering by label

In the Unibox left sidebar, click a label under Labels to filter conversations to only those with that label applied.

Use status for pipeline stage (where is this lead in the process?). Use labels for attributes (what type of lead is this?). The AI handles status — use labels to capture context that's specific to your workflow.
